Deathwatch stores your email address, subscription state, signup source and confirmation timestamps only when you request the weekly report.

Email consent

You are not subscribed until you click the confirmation link. We use the address only for Deathwatch reports and essential subscription messages. We do not sell the list.

Unsubscribe and deletion

Every report includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove your record by emailing [email protected].

Visitor measurement

Deathwatch records page path, referrer hostname, campaign tags, coarse device type and, where supplied by our network, a two-letter country code. It does not store raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, full referrer URLs, or search terms. A salted visitor digest rotates every day and is retained for up to 90 days, so it can estimate daily visitors without creating a cross-day profile.

Delivery and third parties

Transactional email is delivered through Resend. Google Analytics is also loaded for aggregate measurement. Those providers may process technical delivery or visit data under their own policies.
